Cloud Security

Cloud security is a crucial component of the digital era. With that in mind, the National Security Agency (NSA) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) collaborated to issue five joint cybersecurity bulletins on best practices aimed at enhancing security for cloud services. These bulletins address critical aspects such as identity and access management, key management, data encryption, cloud storage security, and mitigating risks from managed service providers (MSPs). Key practices include configuring multi-factor authentication (MFA), securely managing credentials, segmenting cloud networks, and ensuring data encryption. MSPs should also be audited and monitored to prevent threats, as they are common targets for attacks. Finally, the bulletins emphasize the importance of robust cybersecurity measures to protect valuable data stored in the cloud from threats like the Russian Nobelium attacks.
